Track rubber!!

Car  172 5HED
Whats best?? Got a second set of rims for track use!!

Is it 888s as I expected?? Or is there something else on par grip wise?

888's or those Toyo RS2's everyones talking about... I found RS2's difficult to get hold of though!

I got these today :D

I've got RS2's on mine at present, not been on track yet but loving every drive so far;)

As i'm a cheapskate i'm going for some T1-R's at 34quid a time and just shred them in a day without worrying too much.. :o

Obviously they wont be as grippy as the 888's but still as much fun I say :D

Camskill normally come up pretty cheap but finding stock is the issue at the moment with most places

i tend to use ebay.

there are some massive bargains on part worn competition rubber to be had on there!

Any got a link to what the sizes mean on proper track tyres then?

Need some for 6.5jx15" wheels

you have a 197 so you can pick up 2nd hand slicks for cheap, if you can find some.

I use A048s currently on the Exige, very good tyres but with the LTS compound differences you get quite violent shakes at 88mph upwards. Apparently this is a 'feature' - the R888s are also fairly well rated and don't have this issue.
