Trackday Insurance Cover

I know your insurance is generally invalid through racing etc.

If I were to go on a trackday I would want Insurance cover (as much as anything in case someone else hit me, no one wants to crash their car). Does anyone know who does trackday insurance, what it covers and roughly how much I could expect to pay for one days cover?

Dont know if its variable like normal insurance or a set fee, so for a rough guide based on your experiences Im 23, 172 clio, 5 yrs NCB, No track experience or advanced driving qualifications.

Expect to pay around 1% of the value insured for a day. So if you want to insure £10,000 itll cost you about £100.

Doesnt make any difference how old you are, and NCB is irrelevant.

i use CCI (competition car insurance) and it costs about 1% of the sum insured so for an 11k car about £110 for the day with a large excess, but i always go for it. not worth the risk IMO.

I used competition car insurance - cost me £138 for one day with £1500 excess.
