tracker rod ends on ph1 172 sport

hi all

I have recently become a full member to forum and was wondering if anyone had a problem getting hold of the correct track rod ends .
I have been to Renault and there saying I need steering rack code but I have been under the car for the last hour and cant find the code any were on the steering rack or arms I no I am looking for smi or trw but just cant find it , and Renault want £84 a set so no option of buying both ,because I don't have a spare £168 lying about :dapprove: was just wondering if there is any other way of finding out or if any one can help ..

i wish they were from renault they are £84 a set , i have been told to only use genuine rod ends because after market never fit prooerly or somthing due to size and threads .:S

Make sure you check both rods AND ends, each can have play.

That way you only have to get it tracked once!

thanks I have managed to get hold of the rite ones now started taking old ones off yesterday and there both stuck solid booked into garage on Tuesday now to get them both fitted and wheel alignment sorted thanks for all the help .
