Both tyres are the same, put fronts to rear and the new fronts are doing the same. I drive like a saint!

These were rainsport 2s, now swapped for t1rs which are doing the same.

How do you get the track rod off? Subframe is in the way

Got the track rod off, and the new one doesn't fit, even though it's for a 182, are they not the same?! But the track rod end fits onto both old and new

Yep I made the same mistake, the cheapest one from ecp was the right one I cant remember what its called, ill have a quick look.

Bought from ecp again mate, I think they only do one size in those so you cant really go wrong, but theres a left one and a right one unlike the tie rods obviously.

Think I got the lemforder or ocap ones.

  dan's cast offs.
to be honest wouldn't use either ocap or q drive. i use fai, not sure on part numbers though sorry. am off for a couple of days so wouldn't be able to confirm until weekend sorry.

Personally I would not touch the Q-Drive/Ocap POS.

On my old 205 GTi the drop links were shot within 2k and 3 years - all boots were scrap and I needed the car MOT'd that week. Q-Drive they were; I was due to sell the car that week, and the drop links were the difference between the MOT and not getting one. Oddly enough the car stopped knocking as well.
On the Clio the ECP sourced TRE has lasted 23 months and 18k, it failed it's MOT this time around; Pretty shite when some of my cars had gone onto 6 figures with the original items an still with zero play present. I am hoping the Lemforder item lasts longer.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like throwing cash around but I hate doing the same job twice and spending more overall! In this case the PO changed the TRE going by receipts and MOTs, but still; it shouldn't have failed this soon (it's passed 2 MOTs under my ownership).

For the people who find ECP stuff how many miles have you covered in the car; is it a daily?

The cars my daily, probably 20k problem free.

Thats including some fast road driving in a 280hp Clio which obviously puts more strain on component.
