Traction Control and Service Light

I drive 20 minutes from my house to work, and about 10-15 minutes in, the Traction Control and Service Light both come on together.

They stay on till the car is turned off and when its restarted the lights are off and the same thing happens at about the same time.

any ideas?

i just done a search, which i shood have done before, apparently its the brake pedal sensor, is this correct?

Brake pedal switch will either have come loose, need adjusting or be faulty.
