about 5 years ago, I bought myself a limited edition extreme green rollcab from the snap-on man.



Well, about 3 years ago, I'd filled it WAY beyond capacity, so asked my dealer to find me a top box that matched. Challenge extended, and accepted

Well last week, I called up said dealer to inform of my new location, and he stopped by. As he walked in he saw my box, and asked if i remembered the challenge i'd given him.

Well he'd just done a trade in the day before and he'd only gone and got one!!!!!

So today i took delivery of this.

I drive past him parked at the local bodyshop/garage all the time. Even I'm tempted to stop and be nosey! Lol.

It's hella expensive though..

i had the same problem when the van used to pull up at my old work i used to buy things i didnt need just because it was shiny and i could say i had it lol

Little story about snap on men.

We obviously had little tabs at work. One guy, a mate had around £650 roughly.

Anyway one week we heard the guys wife died they were both older, maybe late 60's. Shame. After that he would only come in now and again instead of every week to pick up money/debts.

Anyway weeks went by and we heard he went in for a cateracts op and we never seen him since that was like 3 years ago now!

Think I had around £100 at the time. We have a new guy now but he never mentioned the guy before! Result for my mate.

Not so much for the last snap on guy.
