tried and tested metal polish

I know this subject has been posted loads of times but it's regarding polishing the injector rail and inlet manifold up.

has anyone got any tried and tested equipment / polishing wheels / compound etc. which they have used and has worked?

i want to do it all myself so any links or contact details to where i can buy the stuff from would be very usefull.
