Tried to go 200mph today.

Second time I’ve been to a Vmax event, the last was in my E55. I think we did 186/7mph on the vbox and trap at the end of the runway and 176mph standing mile.

This time we took my mates Supercharged C63. 192.55mph and 180mph standing mile we managed after nearly 30 runs and a full tank of fuel

As per usual it’s an awesome day, you can just continuously run barely without any waiting. Soo much adrenaline it’s f**king knackering but it’s great fun and you see some lovely metal.

Took plenty of videos, some of us beating things and many many of us having our ass handed to us but I’m not going to attempt to post them on here. Still gutted I haven’t got to 200mph at one of these events yet but rain, wind and inlet temps really held us back today.

Good mate of mine has an ESS tuned 997 Turbo which is about 750 at the wheels. He’s always at these, his name is Tom, cars black with orange stripes.

His best run last year was 211mph I think.
Im still yet to do a Vmax day, but they look great fun.

Barely anyone else actually bought that stupid thing, let alone modified one.
It was just a Toyota IQ with a bumper, some badges and an extra £20,000 onto the price tag.

Apparently Aston owners fight for them these days and they sell for silly money when they come up.

Yer it did, still waiting for the official time sheets to be shown.

we had to ask at the end of the day what our official time was to see if it aligned with the Vbox. It did, well within 0.2mph.
The amount of people who were quoting their speedo speed and being disappointed with the actual speed was pretty funny. 5-10% is a lot a those speeds

Went to one of these about 15 years ago.
Passengered in a 911 Turbo doing 191mph.
Awesome event and seems to have many more crazy fast cars these days.
