Has anyone had the problem of the trip computer resetting itself every time they turn the engine off?

Its a fault with the battery, go halford get it tested, when its low that happens it happened to me £70 new battery...do a search

As said check the battery but somtimes thr dashboard do fail only fix then is a new one

Mine was doing this so I replaced the battery. It still resets on occasion, but is much less frequent than before and I know the UCH is knackered so I attribute it to that now!

As said new battery , batteries suffer alot in the cold weather especially if its a couple of years old . Mine resets itself , but only when the weather outside is around freezing point . Go to a local motor factors . £70 for a new battery ?? I don't think so , you can get them for alot less than that , try around £40 .

Yeah change battery, iv'e been putting it off for months with trip reseting and this cold weather my cold didn't start had to bump it and now iv'e got my arse in to gear and got a new'un today.

Phoned around, and even at trade price through work renault said 71 inc vat.

Rang Northampton Tyres and they said 49.99 inc VAT, fitted for free.

Just ring round if i was you.
