Trip Counter Still Knackered

Hi guys. I posted a topic a few weeks ago about my trip counter keep resetting itself everytime I start the car up.

Ive checked the fuses and cant see any that have blown and Renault had it for a whole day and said there is nothing wrong with it.

What do you guys suggest? It is really starting to annoy me now.

My car did the same thing one day last week, it was very cold that day so I put it down to that.

Hasnt done it since.

my old 172 did it everytime i started it up. ALl the needles would flicker down as well. Take it back & back & back & keep showing them into they fix it, Mine went back 5 times

Yes I think I will take it back, but Im gonna try another dealer cuz Im not really happy with the one im with.

Actually, come to think of it, this only started during the cold weather.

yep mine started doing this a few months ago. Reno told me i needed a new instrument panel but that means you lose all ya mileage. It then stopped doing it apart from on really cold days. Had the car sevice two weeks ago and the reset the ECU now it does it every day

Mine been doing it since the cold weather and by the way i had a major service about 1 month ago and it only been doing it more ever since .to be honest i cant be arsed going back to renault fed up with going 4-5 times with a problem only for them not to fix it.....
