Trophy Group 17!?

I was going to get a a clio trophy then i found out the insurance group i couldn't believe it, i thought all the 182's were group 16 ended up getting the arctic blue model which is good enough for me

I had a 182, sold it, then 6 month later got a Trophy and the insurance was slightly cheaper with the same insurance company, infact i also got breakdown cover for £1 per month more than i was paying for my old 182.
Did u enquire how much the insurance would be on the Trophy?
I think if you had you may have found it was the same price.

its a con as it was down to having no airbags in the seats! i thought but then again my cup hasnt got any and thats only group 16 - must be because trophys have expensive suspension

^^ your age wont help but thats just plain silly! 182 cup with aftermarket seats for me with pncb 428.00 :approve: the joys of being 26!! in 5 months time should be closer to 300

£600 odd extra for a Trophy, if I could stretch to it I would have gone for one. All about personal preference though.

what shocks me is how little difference there is between a 1*2 and something like an S2000.

I got a quote for an rs4, 25 with 3 yr ncd, comes in at £924. Also ran a quote for a gt3 rs valued at 100k, came out at 1900. Bargain!!
