Trophy HU

I've just upgraded from a 182 FF to a Trophy.

In the catalogue at the time, the HU was listed as a "Radiosat CD 4x15 W" for the Trophy and "Radiosat CD Cabasse-Tronic 4x40 W" for the FF.

Thing is, the HU in the trophy looks identical to the one in my old FF - could it be that it's the same one?

Both say "update list" if that's of any help...

pretty sure it says cabasse - will have to check tonight.

What's the significance of that? does it mean it's the 4x40w unit??

Yeah, the one I want, does it have the code?

The security code, after you disconnect it the head unit will ask for you to enter a code, it is normally found in one of the books along with the manual.

The Cabasse one is really expensive; the normal one isn't...

Normally 4 digits.

Its usually on the first pager of the service manual or handbook on a printed sticker.

yeah it is and you can tell.

do you know if the speakers in the trophy are the same as the 182FF? Then I'd just switch the two out before I sell the FF.
