Greatest drivers cars of the decade included all sorts though including stuff like a 550, 911, Zonda etc, a true hot hatch one would be fantastic. But like you say with everything getting on in ages finding a factory fresh example is one thing, let alone one the owners is going to let be thrashed for a car mag.
Best hot hatch ever IMO, shame it was never released over here 309 GTi 16V. The normal 309 GTi is the best handling car I have even driven, shame it was underpowered, Europe never had this problem with the Mi engined version. The Williams is an amazing car but even though it has the power the 205 GTi never had, I think I would still choose a 205 over it. The whole thing is always going to be subjective, but for me the 182 does everything I want and more.
