I only had mine just under 2 month wasnt looking for a clio 182 as insurance was mad for me yet i went to look at somin one sat then on way home thought i would stop off at churches performance cars dont rate them very highly there not too gd with customer care, anyway pulled up and there it was i thought lets take it for a test drive get a few quotes n it works out cheaper than a 182 or a 172 not complaining so that was it.
I work down foundry lane for Addspeed they specialise in performance vehicles so its my route to work. Not done anything yet to it other than get it mechanically sound, got the timing belt done when i got car so i didnt need to do that, iv done oil, air, pollen, gearbox oil change spark plugs, leads and coil pack as that went and its all been due as the 182's have a big 5 year service. Other than that just starting to tidy it up it needs a good mop people who owned it b4 left a few marks on it but its minor, no dents so all gd. Im looking at getting exhaust system atm with de-cat and mil eliminator then sending front dampers away for refurb thats bout it was gona make it a project as eventually wana do cams, itg induction, get adjustable rear dampers, remap as idle on the 182's are a tad poor n i wana get rid of the rev limiter on cold. Apart from that i think thats about it. I saw a Trophy at the world renault series last weekend on koni coilovers was rather tasty.
Your racelands are cheap but there ok for starters if ur after an upgrade go koni they fit the best imo. My plans are to make mine nice for next year n have a few track days just really wana get out on a track n see how it goes.
