Dan, you are such a child lol. You can have your personal opinion but no-one else can. Such a sad act lol.

I prefer the F1 GSD3, and the V12 evo. Just didn't like the feel on the pe2's. Didn't say the pe2's were s**t, just that I didn't like them.

everyone can have an opinion mate no problem and eveyone is welcome to one. I never sed that at all :) just the way u write things echos someone elses attitude on this forum. forget i sed anything tho. im just agreeing with 99.9% of people on here about pe2's.

No need to jump don't peoples throats getting personal, is there?

So is everyone that agrees with you on ast's a sheep? Let me guess, no. You behave like a child, where no-one opinion re. a Clio that doesn't align with yours is wrong.

By all accounts your a decent lad at meets etc. Makes your cuntish attitude on here even more baffling.

On my last clio 172 cup, I used goodyears and toyo's found them really good! I was going to go with conti's but sadly they didn't have any in at the time.

When I got the Trophy, I thought i'd try conti's but there was no difference in price with the PE2's so I just went with them as they had them in stock.......I can't knock them as they have been brilliant! but yes its down to personal opinion. Some may like them some may not.

My mate with his typeR changed the OE tires when he wore them out and said they were shite! so he now runs conti's and finds them 100% better!

Because people who don't know what they are doing could have been pissing around with them! They were set up and pinned for a reason imo.

Well yes i can agree that they were set to 22 for a reason. But i don't really see how a person could screw them up. Even if they did leave them on a different setting its only a case of turning the dial back to where it was. A lot of owners run them higher for track work but then dial them back down for road use, mainly for comfort. I really think even if a person didn't know what they were doing they couldn't damage anything unless they crashed it. Most people who have had them depinned though most likely have an interest in set up anyways.

I think I remember a few people on the trophy forum saying that when they had theirs unpinned, they hadn't all been set to 22, some were different right to left.

Unpinning doesn't bother me, had mine not been under warranty I would of had a go myself.

Roffle at Tyre Wars.

Car manufacturers choose tyre manufacturers based on more than just performance. It's business. They have business relationships. Supply x amount tyres for the lowest cost possible. Just because a car comes with a specific brand of tyre, does not mean it will behave adversely with a different type.

People trust Renault's tyre choice implicitly, yet they are a company who made every single 182 with an ECU bracket that snaps when you start the engine. PE2 are a very good tyre, and there's no doubt they perform well on the 182, but you're not going to crash and burn by trying something else. That said, I always ran my 182 on PE2.
