Trophy suspension for a 182

  Golf GTD Mk7
What do you mean mate? There is trophy suspension for 182's. It's on the 182 trophy. It will only fit on the trophy itself and the 182 with cup packs. ie. you'll need 60mm bolt spacings on the hub.

Sorry, not the clearest question I have ever asked. I have a 182 with cup packs, but instead of spending my pennies on coilovers I wondered if there was a kit (from Sachs maybe?) for the 182 to convert to trophy spec suspension

Am I right in the thinking the springs are different all round, with different damper rates at the rear and the Sachs dampers at the front?

Best to source second hand ones of a trophy that is being broken (breaking a trophy is a sin lol!!) Ideally with the refurb already carried out.

If you have a search someone has a thread along the lines of "my black/gold trophy" basically a cup packed 182 with recaros, turinis and the sachs suspension set up!

You'd be better off just buying a trophy tbh.

Then you get the seats and wheels too.

That was the idea with mine..
After totalling up the shopping list it was worth the extra to just get a Trophy :)

Same for me. Plus I loved capsicum on my 1.2 so effectively its still the same car just with more power.

There's a cheap one just come up on here . Sub £6k.

Trophy Sachs setup goes for about £500 2nd hand.

Just wait a while, as they get cheaper, Retards will simply fit coilovers for lows, subsequently flogging their Sachs kits.

EFA. Decked in the weeds iirc. One of the best FWD cars ever made ruined.
