  Golf MK7,GSX-R600 L4
My cup is 3 years old in December and im pleased to say there's been nowt wrong with at all! I'm really chuffed as i've had it from new, its just had its 24k mile service aswell.:approve:

Anyone else had a totally reliable renaultsport? Or is it true that most of these french cars fall apart:dead:

My last car was totally 100% reliable and never let me down and that was on nearly 50k when i sold it. Hopefully my new car will be the same!

fooked!! last year had around 40k on the clock. Took the car to get it tracked up, they said they couldn't do it as there was 'play' in the rack.... showed me and there was.

lucky for me it was done under warranty (only i month left on it lol)

must have been unlucky as it doesnt seem common on here

Its a close thing with Renault whats worsr the Lgans got a fair few problems ball joints/turbo's/gearboxs on the Lagunas.

Good thing there safe cars and nice to look at.

My cars been quite reliable for teh abuse its had my parents have had much less reliable "posh cars.

yep, as you said its bottom arms, 6 speed gearboxes and turbos. They really are very poor apparently, bordering on dangerous. The previous ones were better made in his opinion

Yep the long servicing periods plus the fact there never driven hard ie EGR's are getting block plus the turbo oil lines are to slim to deal with the oil when its worn out.

The old one doesn't look as preaty though. Your right there were in some ways better. But they ween;'t designed for the same oils/service lifes.

mine held out to 50k, then jumped in the car in may and it was split. Changed it for a 320mm momo ;)

I had had just over 3 years trouble free motoring until yesterday when she started misfiring like a b**ch. Found out today she'd blown two coils. She's all fixed now though.:D

I've had my 172 a year now and haven't had any problems with it yet.

I had my Renault 19 16v for two years which was an old car (K plate)....even that seemed to be pretty well behaved for a Renault.

Must be lucky
