Trouble with Starting 172

Anybody else had problems starting their 172. I have a Y reg 2.0 172 Exclusive, it has been starting fine, but just recently I have had trouble with it starting. It turns over ok, just doesnt fire. Sometimes it takes ages for it to fire, it does eventually. (Its very intermitant at the moment.) Has anyone else had this problem, and whats the cure??

Nope you can do it yourself.

Very easy job to do yourself as are most sensors!

Thanks for all your help, but my exhaust fell off in the mean time and it has cured the not starting problem. Although it cost me a fortune for new exhaust
