Trouble with std. throttle body. 172 ph1

Hello lads.
On my 172 ph1, the speeder seems to get stuck around 2k now and then.. And the throttle seems a bit dodgy around 1-2K rpm.

Renault said I would need new throttlebody..

is it a common problem, and can i fix it somehow without buying a new ?

Sounds like a sticking throttle cable mate!

Thought they were electronic throttles on F4R?

Maybe take it off and give it a good clean. Could be gunked up.

Next step is a new throttle cable.

I highly doubt you need a new throttle body. Renault will charge you through the nose for one as well

this happened to me last night getting a new cable today.

clean it....! Happened on my ph1 and i cleaned it with carb cleaner...

make sure that you lubricate it though or you will make the problem worse.. silicone lubrication is the best for the job. PM Me for instructions, thats if you dont know how to do it.
