Ever since ive had my car the heating hasnt worked, found out on here it was the heater matrix being choked and needed to be replaced - 6 ish hours work, dash out.
So i went to order a new matrix from LR Spares who didnt have any but he did tell me to firstly try flushing just the matrix. Off with the clips coupled up the hose pipe to the larger inlet pipe and a drain hose to the outlet, half an hour later and lots of varied pressure and loads of ejected sh*te.
Top up of anti freeze and instant HEAT, its lush, a warm Valver at last.
So try this first if you didnt already know, its saved me £40 and most of a day!
