Has anyone ever found a good book , DVD or website that tells you how to rebuild a Clio 1.8 16v engine. I have a spare engine that I want to mess around with in my garage. I have very little Mechanical experience, but I figure if I brake it I havent lost anything.

If there is no such thing, I suggest one of you clever mechanic guys gets a camcorder and makes one. Cause I know I would buy it.

Haynes manual????

I thought a haynes manual didnt cover a full engine rebuild, plus it would be nice to have some performance mod ideas included. I think there is a real busines oportunity here. You can buy a Max power/haynes manual for putting on the usual after market stuff, and the standard haynes covers general maintenance and repair, but I cant find or think of anything that will tel you step by step how to rebuild you engine, tune it up or some of the other stuff you pay people thousands of pounds to do. I realise some of this stuff is specialist and you cant do it yourself, but there has to be plenty of work you can do on your engine that doesnt require specialist tools and could save you a lot of money if you did it yourself.

Am I the only one who thinks this?
