Turbines

Ive found a few sets of these but they either dont have the locks, or dont have the centre caps. Are these bits easy to find or should i wait for a complete set?

Does anyone know of anywhere that will restore Turbines to their original (polished) finish. Ive got a set in my garage that I would love to get back on the valver, but the finish is in pretty poor condition. Ive been to a couple of local wheel specialists and they can refurbish them, but say they will finish up dull or matt.

Might have to go the anthracite route with a white rim if not!

Damn - I love the original finish but mine look pooh at the minute. Thats a real shame......

Standard Phase1 Turbines look the nuts. Excellent wheel choice. I saw some with the original polished finish the other day... mmmm.

Cant believe they were making the Valver with 15" wheels in late 1991 - youd think the 182 would be rolling on 20s or something by now!

there is a place that can diamond cut the wheels so they look like they did when they were new. some of the work on their website looks outstanding. ill go and hunt for the link.

edit. found the place. this is the finish i am gonna put on my turbines.

sooo nice. £53 a wheel tho, but for them to look like that, its worth it!

steve a, polishing them every couple of days sounds like a ball-ache, but they do look superb - if they had a "jealous" emoticon I would be using it now.
