Turbo engine + camshaft

Is it "healthy" for turbo engine to put a different camshaft with changed fases? Does it improve performance? Ive heard that turbo engines, unlike NA, dont like competition cams...

They dont need such wild cams no.

BUT, you can benefit from playing with inlet timing and making that wilder whilst leaving the exhaust timing more tame.....since your playing with forced induction.

It does increase performcance yes, but it depends totally on the cam profile, you can end up with laggy performce when you go too wild.
