Turbo!!

I have a 172 at the moment but want more power but there is no way i could spend 6 grand for a k-tec turbo conversion.
Iv been having a look about and im thinking about doing it myself as i can get the manifold, turbo, intercooler etc but does any1 no who would do the managment for it ?? has any1 done this before??

Stand along ECU and phase1 throttle body etc is your best ideal loads of managment options out there BenR has recomended one in particular before now do a serch though his posts.

There a few done beofre none of which are on the forum realy.

You'd have to know what your doing and IMO idealy change the whole engine for a 1.8 vag or a f4R turbo engine to start with as the jc5 won't last long with decinet hp plus you'll need to lower the CR realy to run any power.

im running bbpt turbo kit and no probs with my gearbox yet!
and belive me its had loads of abuse!
250bhp 0-60 sub 5secs!

k-tec can do you stand alone engine management mate!
give em a call!
they do a kit to match whatever budget you have lol

For how long though stock box is on its limit under Renault warently.
