Turning blower on dims my lights!!

  Valver
Just noticed it today but when I turned the blower onto '3' the lights dimmed slightly, when I turned it off they got brighter again! Is this normal or does it mean something is broken :S

I have the same, also works if you have leccy windows, and do them both up at the same time.

I have a brand-new uprated battery, and 3month old altenator.

I think it's just shitty Reno electrics... but... anyone wanna shed some light? (light...get it....light? ...haha...oh...wait...no, im not funny. :( )

my lights are dimming big style when using my electric windows and they are going really slow, does it with the engine on or off so dont know what it is, probably both battery and alternator fuked in my case!

^ same here, mine go down quick, but go up soooooooooooo slowly its painful.

Good to see Reno didnt fix it for the Mk2....lol, remind me, WHY do we buy renos?

The passenger one goes up slowley on all reno's its a safety thing iirc.

As for lights dimming, esp on mk1 clios check teh earths, after ten years they tend to corrode slightly

The lights dim on mine too, think its cause your drawing electric from the system so the other systems using it gets less so goes slightly dimmer

its renault, get over it

lol sorry just had to do that. using anything with electrics will dim the lights, there is a big start up power surge to move motors etc for elecy windows and other gadgets.

LoL... the weird thing is... according to some bloke... its impossible to destroy energy... including electricity... but.. Renault have somehow overcame the laws of physics... the electricity comes out of the battery...and DISAPPEAERS!!!!!!!!

RENO HAVE CHANGED THE LAWS OF PHYISCS!!!!!!!! Geniuses...really!

Nah, they cut out whenever they meet any resistance... and im guessing when it hits the metal of the door...thats quite a lot of resistance... :p

As I say...its reno simply destroying energy ;)
