The Sonus is not really comparable it is a QD spray with a small wax in it. Not really a spray wax product, I would look into Duragloss Aquawax, Optimum Carwax or Prima Hydro if you want a easy to use spray wax.

Add Mothers reflections spray to that list! :)

Never used the extreme speed wax but i use Turtle wax " wax it wet " regularly when i'm pushed for time . I've gotta say it does give impressive results , beads water just as good as traditional carnauba wax and is quite long lasting . Cheapest place is £4.95 from Tescos . A bottle will last a few washes .

I think there is some snobbery when products from companys like Turtle wax are mentioned . People like to put these products down without having actually tried them . Then again , this is Cliosport and that seems to be a favourite pastime of quite a few members :quiet:

Agreed...a lot of people have opinions based on absolutely nothing more than a gut reaction to something.

Head over to Gaming Chat for the ever lively PS3 vs xbox 360 debate....

I think people, not just in CS but in general, are defensive of the things they own. They have spent their money on something and don't like thinking there is something better they could have bought, so its almost like justifying it to themselves.

I used to use TW products, like the Extreme shampoo and Platinum Tyre Gel and thought they were more than acceptable. Its like anything though, when you get into something you like to have a niche product so it makes you seem more expert and trendy. For example, music fans who only like bands you have never heard of and instantly dislike a band if they sell more than 10 records.

Gets my goat too...

Sorry I forgot to add... in general, named "designer" brands do offer a better product, but they normally cost more too. Basically, you generally get what you pay for.

But yeah give it a try - sure it won't be "rubbish" Ali... ;)

Even more reason mate! Salt and grime! Takes me 1/2 the time to wash my car because of the wax.
