TV's for £350-£400?

What sort of tvs can you get for that sort of money?

Are there any what i should look at?needs to be hd, in terms of tv has samsung beat sony?

I bought a Sony Bravia 32" not long back for about £300, does the job nicely.

Built in freeview, yada yada, nothing amazing, but at £300 who's complaining.

Anything over 32" needs 1080p imo, which is quite a price hike.

I've got this and it's great for HD and SD. PS3 looks great too. Good colours and features. If it was from Sainsburys it would be the U series which is aimed at the supermarket sector so starting range, but still decent. The S has Bravia engine and WCG which gives better colour reproduction. IMO a better tv for not that much more retail value.

www.empiredirect.co.uk are a pretty good site! Got my Samsung LE23R 23" HD LCD for about £480 when it first came out about a year and a half ago and its not let me down and the delivery was pretty spot on.
