Tweeters

To disconnect my tweeters am I able to just disconnect the wires on the ISO (if yes, then what colour are the wires?) or will I need to remove the top dash to physically remove them? This is in a mk2 ph1 btw. Im not planning on mounting the new tweeters in the factory positions so I would prefer to get away without getting the top dash off.

Think your only option is taking the top dash off.

Its not that difficult to get the dash off, not sure why everyone shys away from it.

Well all i did was to take the tweeter covers off. They just twist off. Its a bit tight, but once you get in there then just pull the old tweeters out and cut the wires if thats what you want to do.

I dont mind taking the top dash off, Ive already done it before, looks like Ill have to do it anyway cus the covers dont twist off on mine as its a ph1.
