twin 12 sub box

anyone recommend any places where i can get a twin 12" sub box from??

cheapest iv seen local to me is from MCS Direct - £69.99..... bit pricey i thought!

also.....is it worth having 2x 12" ? or will 1 be enough in a small car like the clio? (previous car woz an escort so not sure wot it will sound like in the clio)

the sound will be square waving losing quality, and as for space i found it almost impossible to fit 2x10"s and the amps into the boot (only using 1.3 cu ft boxes)

one!? nah nah nah stick with ur two, i got two 12s in the back of mine with a 10 disc cd change and an amp, all fits in fine for me, even space for a jacket! lol, me and my mate made the whole boot, cd changer in its own little box tucked away at the side of the boot so u dont even know its there and then the amp is simply screwed onto the wall of that box(one of the alpine digital ones so it aint exactly all that slim either), then there is about 2 inches gap and then my sub box takes up the rest of the boot.

ive got 2 15s and 2 amps in the back of mine and it could put a parcel shelf on aswell if my install wasnt crazy

theres pros and conns of single and double set ups.
i would say do as suggested and spend double the money on a single sub. then u can always add to it later rather than buying 2 lesser quality subs and regretting it

I was planning on putting my sub/box and amp into the boot but dont wanna slow my car down too much, I like the acceleration i get just now..

I have a love set of subs for sale if your into serious bass. Three MTX thunder 4000s in a 1 inch thick MTX sub box. The box has a perspex window in the back of it. These subs are feckin loud. They fit quite nicely into a clio boot. They cost me £500 10 months ago. I want £200 for them. If your interested I could sort out a couple of pics.

Hiya Leigh long no speak mate.

Yeah got the Sony amps, was thinking just for badness keeping it all the one make and to be fair to Sony they aint half bad...not Sony subs though, was think more in the line of Alpine when funds allow.

It was a challenge getting the mdf to fit that amp...its far too easy to make a square install.
