As above. Changed my Clutch just over a week ago and now more problems.

Firstly, the steering feels really disconnected and there is a flapping noise coming from the passenger side front wheel and a droning sound too.

Second, at biting point the engine sounds very lumpy and is very low in the rev range.

Thirdly, the gearbox feels like a bag of spanners and there is a lot of movement when it's in gear and you accelerate and then take your foot off the pedal, also if you are high up the rev range in third for example and let off the accelerator for a second completely and then put your foot to the floor again the car jerks a lot. Don't know if this is normal or not.

Any help, I'm quickly starting to hate my car.

Have all the mounts been put back and tightened up?

May need the mounts replacing if they're old and knackered too

Mine's doing exactly the same after a new clutch, do you get a knocking noise every time you engage the clutch and when you take your foot off the gas?

something has not been put back/tightened up right! i would say a rushed job by someone whos a bit of a bodger

I know the clutch has been done properly. So it rules that out. The wheel was sounding on it's way out before hand and so was the gearbox. It's just got worse though. My thoughts were wheel bearing, gearbox mounts and is it the dog bone mount? That nay need replacing?

Don't bump a thread hoping for a magical answer as we cannot see the car.get it jacked up and try the things that have been suggested,then try again.

im not expecting a magical answer. im not a mechanic. so as you can see i have listed the mounts i thought i may need to change so that i know what im looking for when i jack it up. the question mark at the end of the post should point out that i was looking for a response because i genuinley dont know what im looking for.
