Do places like Quick Fit etc. fit tyres if you have bought them somewhere else? Just looking on Camskill and they seem pretty cheap but obviously will need to find a place to get them fitted :dapprove:

Anyone know a place around a Norwich?

Thanks
Andy

I had taken some brand new VW wheels and tyres (not attatched) to be fitted at Kwikfit and they didnt even charge.
When i went back to have a fitted wheel and tyre swaped with another fitted wheel and tyre they didnt want to know.
However i took it to Hi-Q and they charged a tenner to do it.

Might just have to Order the Tyres and then just take them to small garages and see if they will fit them,

How good are the Toyo's Nowadays??? Not had any since they changed them

Little way from Norwich, but Treadfirst in Diss will fit tyres bought anywhere. Good bunch of guys, and you can just drop in whenever to get them done.

As for Toyos, the words 'barge touch wouldn't with a pole', spring to mind, but that's my personal opinion. There are much better tyres available that don't cost a lot more.

I'm listeng James, Always stuck with PE2's but with the current stock levels I'm looking elsewhere, Recomendations??

If it was my money, PE2s (but as you've said availability is hit and miss), after that the Goodyear Eagle F1s. You can get 4 F1s delivered for £296 (Blackcircles or Camskill).

I've been running F1s on the Cup for 15 months, still decent tread left on all 4, and you followed me down my route to work the other weekend, so you know what sort of a workout they get!

Sounds Good, Might order the f1's Tomorrow then, Need my Tracking done aswell so hopefully all be sorted by the end of the week

In a very similar postion to me mate.

I was going to order toyos, but the fact that a lot of people on here slated them and several places had them down as "summer" tyres and not ideal for the wet really put me off.

I went for Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3s. in the end.

Popped into a local place that did my MOT and have done a few other things and booked it in to have the tracking done. Then said, ive got a set of tyres that need putting on, will you do it for me for £20 if I leave them in the car! ;) No probs! :D

Might have to Pop to my Local Tyre Place and see if they will Fit them and do tracking at a good Price
