Tyre repair

Morning all,

Noticed last night i have aquired a nail in my offside rear tyre. Its probably about midpoint on the tread - anyone know what the chances are of repairing?

most can be for £10 ish but most tyre places such as Kwickfit will try and sell you a new tyre. go to a indi and your prob get it repaired

Usually repairable if its in the middle of the tyre tread, as long as you haven't run it flat & damaged the inside wall. If it's near the tyre wall it's a nono.

No its still inflated. TBH i'd noticed it deflating about 6psi every fortnight so may have been there a while, i just assumed it was a slow puncture. Cheers guys saves the burdon of buyin another PE2 as i already need 2 fronts :S
