Tyre Size & Dynamique Wheels

Quick question, standard size is 185/55, is it possible to put on a 195/50 and is there any downsides to doing this?

195/50 is fine. I rolled that for ages on standard dynamique rims.

There's a -1.45% difference in speed though.

That's fine then, just checking there was no issues with fitting or scrubbing or any of that crap. Am I right in saying if it's negative 1.5% then my speedo will show the car going faster than it actually is?

sorry to hijack the thread but what is the difference in putting 195/50 on instead on 185/55. is it to save money or something?

For me, yes it is about the cash. Although there are other benefits.

My understanding is yes.
If its standard it wont scrub. Obviously if you have spacers/lowered there is a possibility.

195 50 15 toyos are £30 each, thats why i changed the mrs tyres to this size, cheap cheap

Thats my reason as well, 4 tyres for £200 or standard size coming in at £280, sack that!

That's fair enough. Most places here will change £10 to fit and balance per tyre. But I got tyres very cheap.
