Tyre wear

  Clio 182
As a rule do the clio sports wear their tyres out in certain places sooner under hard driving.
ie do the fronts wear the inners or outers first?
same for the rears.

ive got some used 888 tyres which are slightly more worn on one side to the other so wondered where the worn side needs to go.

General input: Fronts wear faster than rears obviously. The wear should be pretty even if the alignment is set up to factory specs. Although under hard driving there is likely to be most wear on the outside of N/S front. Roundabouts etc ;)

The most tread will go on the front but all 4 have more wear on one side than the other, I was thinking of putting the worn bits on the inside of all 4.
its only for a trackday and not street.

In that case, definately put the wear to the inside of the rim. Trackdays will kill the outer edge of the fronts unless you have upwards of 3 deg neg camber. Swapping the tyre round on the rim prolongs the life of front-fitted trackday tyres on most these cars. Its a good idea to do it but many just sell the part worn on to someone else, which I guess is probably how you've come accross them
