TYRE WEAR

WHAT SORT OF MILAGE SHOULD YOU GET OUT OF A SET OF CONTINENTALS ?

NEARLY DONE 10,000 mls AND MY FRONT TYRES ARE GOOSED.

GARY.

Eagle F1s were £205 for two fitted.....I was ripped off. You can get them cheaper than that I think. Much better than the contis though (in my opinion)

Ive just rolled over 14,000 miles and still on the original contis

I swapped the fronts with the rears at about 12k (wish Id done it at about 8k) and ive done a few trackdays too. Will need replacing soon tho (hence wish i reversed earlier)

Ive done 24,000 on my contis, swapped front with back at 20,000.

Think the main reason that they have lasted so long is that most of my driving is on the motorway.

Chris.

Contis lasted 12,000. Changed front to back after 6,000 and then tried to make them last

Now/just fitted 4X of F1s (GSD2) Fitted & Wheel allighnment £315...

I swapped the fronts with the rears at about 12k

I was told this is bad practice as front and rear tyres wear in different ways
