Just noticed that both rear tyres on my 172 have quite deep cuts in the sidewalls. On one side theres a chunk missing about the size of my thumbnail and on the other side theres a cut about 2cm long and the sidewall is peeling back on either side of it. I know these wheels are prone to curbing but its a bit weird theyre both doing it and Ive only done 8000 miles from new.
Just wondered if anyone had seen this on the Contis and whether its worth raising with the dealer?
