Tyres for a 1.2

My girlfriend has a Renault Clio 1.2 MK 1, at the moment its got some very crap tyres on it, size 145/70/13. Is this the standard size for those clios? Also would it be ok to fit wider ones, say a 155/70/13 or would i need to have a lower profile??

Any help would be great.

Preferably rubber ones.

i think my standard ones were 155/70/13, if that helps?

if you go wider you must go lower profile mate or your speedo will read wrong...

you could go 155/65x13 that would be close enough.....
