Tyres for Williams 2

im currently using goodyear egale f1 on my williams there 185/55/15, a few ppl are using michelin tyres(cant think of specific one) but rate them to, tyres along these lines u should be fine with, also price will vary if u want to stick with 185/55/15 the std size or cheaper alternative is 195/50/15

brake upgrades, at mo ive got brembo std discs with mintex 1144 pads up front, also have goodridge hoses and have no problems with this et-up, certainly feels better then std!

Agree with the F1s, theyre superb, though Id stick with the standard 185/55/15s as, from what others have written on here, 195/50/15s skip across the road more at high speed as they are lower profile.

Oh, and welcome aboard!

total b****cks !!!

i have been running yoko a539s 195/50/15 and the ride and handling is fine and considering they cost me 100 notes for a ful set,

they have been on the car a year and are lasting well

Do a search, theres been a recent comparison between 195/50s and 185/55s...Think Northy and The Jesus might of done it...

100 quid for the Yokos - ull be stupid not to taken them!

Hi guys...

Yep so far ive supplyed 12 sets of Michelin Exalto 2s to the N/W lads. Ive got a set waiting to go on mine in the summer. 185s of course.

Depends what you want...originality and money isnt a problem - get the 185 55 15, but if you go through tyres like underclangers then get the 195 50 15 as they are cheaper and give a firmer ride.

that is the main thing! i got the eagle f1 in 185/55/15 because i could afford them! but next time round think ill be going with 195/50/15 to save money,

but imo even with 195/50/15 they handle fine, i also have 195/50/15 continentals on other alloys to
