Tyres rubbing hen car full

Car  1.2 petrol dynamique
I have a mk2 clio running 205/45/17 tyres on it. I understand they are very big wheels but is there any way to stiffen/lift the suspension so there is less rubbing when the car is full or going over bumps, any help is appreciated. Suspension is standard.

had 205-40-17s on mine lowered 60mm without any problem.

where does it rub? if its on the inner arch/shock area could fit some 10mm+ spacers to give more clearance.

you can get rubber spring assister's that fit inbetween the coils of the springs that may help they are used for cars for towing.

40 profile tyre will help mate.

What width and offset are the alloys?
