Need two tyres and was told my a mate that these are good Yokohama A539 http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html What would you lot say

I've ordered tyres from them before, they were the cheapest and came within 3 days!

Try blackcircle as well also they have a 5 or 7% discount on at the moment so they can work out chepaer with fitment that mytyres.

Supposed to be an excellent performance tyre.

not sure about the wet weather performance though. can anyone confirm this who has ran these and a known good wet tyre like toyo proxies or eagle F1's?

I had Yoko A539 tyres on my old 172, you get what you pay for, they are not good in the wet.

Best tyres are still the PE2, in my opinion they are very hard to beat.

A539 are very dodgy in the wet, but great in the dry. Same for Toyo's.

Best wet weather tyre IMO is the GSD3, second being PE2 although I hear the Yoko Parada spec 2 are competent too.
