Un-even tyre wear.

Noticed the inner and outer edge of both front tyres seems to be more worn than the rest of the tyre. Checked the psi and i's fine, what else could cause this?

The tracking was done at the start of January at NW Performance when I had my coilovers fitted. I did think if the tracking was out it would just cause wear to one edge of the tyre?

My 172 is on H&R's (properly set-up) and I no problems with uneven tyre wear

Yeh they fit them and set them up, it's all done with lasers isn't it so difficult to get wrong?

Not sure mate.. But somethings not quite right if you are getting uneven tyre wear.

It's either the tracking or tyre pressures. They've probably settled since they were setup up and that has thrown the tracking out.

It's not tyre pressure and I think it only settled a couple of mm.

How can the tracking or camber cause wear to both edges, wouldn't it just be the inner OR outer edge? It's not just how Toyo Proxes wear is it, I've got about 6mm in the centre and then 1 to 2mm on the edges.

Settled? Suspension only settles when you first set the car down. If its weak enough to "settle" after a few days/weeks then in a few months you'd need it replaced.

Should have got it set-up/tracked after about 1000 miles once the suspension had settled.

Get it re-tracked and I can bet it will be out.

They were nearly new, so no uneven wear.

I'm just going to keep an eye on them, I'm confident they have been setup correctly but it might been worth getting the tracking checked sometime soon.
