Unable to open bonnet

Help....
Anyone know how to oepn the bonnet of a 172 clio - new recall new catch fitted ages ago, I think the cable has come off the lever on bonnet?

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. The catch had become mis-aligned. I didnt want to cut the grill so removed the front bumper (its a piss easy job). Then I disconnected the grill from the bumper and left it in place. With a bit of poking about with a long flat head screw driver and a hammer, I was able to smack f**k out of the catch to release it. I then re-aligned the catch and now it works like new
