Under Arch/Inside Wheel Cleaner

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
Was cleaning the Car today and i hate seeing black behind the front wheels, so got me thinking what Stuff would make it easier to clean, aswell as the inside of the arch,

Now, i have seen that Ali uses megs Megs APC 4:1 on wheels, but im not 100% on what am i suppose to look for
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/meguiars-apc-bottle/prod_378.html

And on Under Arch clean he mentioned "Spray'd with APC:" :S is this the same 1 as the Meguiars one ?

Thanks

Jamesy

You could also use safe or super degrease for the arches.
You do know that the link you posted is for the bottle only?

AG Engine and Machine Cleaner, Megs Super Degreaser or Megs All Purpose Cleaner - APC 4:1 or 10:1 depending on which comes to hand first.

Dress the plastics with Bumper Care Gel and jobs a good 'un

:eek:wonderd why it was so cheap, was going to order 4 lol. thanks for pointing it out :)

right ok, will browse the site tommorow and draw up a list ov stuf to order,

What about Wash mits? at the moment im using 1 bucket, going back and forth and heard that a sponge is bad for the paint work :S

  Mito Sportiva 135
Get a lambswool mitt for the paint and a mf mitt for the wheels and an old sponge for arches.

Follow the 2 bucket method, or if possible 3 bucket method (or as many as you can handle really!)

5 Bucket method for me - and still got 45 quid left over ;)

I have a couple of lanbswool mitts for the paint, one for the wheels and a crappy Zymol sponge for the arches at the moment - I have OCD though ...

Is the lambswool mits to use when washing or to dry? (never heard of them before)

Which site do you reccomend ordering from, as i would want a fast deliver as im off 1/2 the week so could do it then :)

Lambswool Mitts for washing.

Most of the traders should be able to get it to you in time.

Clean Your Car, Clean and Shiny and i4detailing.co.uk have all got stuff to me the next day

I am sure the high salt content in the fairy can not be good on all the suspension components.

I would hazard a guess that APC is more cost effective than fairy when you consider how much one container makes.

Sorry to gatecrash yor post mate.

How about MUC OFF Degreaser ?

Would that work ?

Only reason i'm asking is i've heaps of it for my mountain bike and was gonna use it on my car :)

13 pence for a 500ml bottle of washing up liquid ;) That be tescos own btw lol (lots of sodium chloride just the way we like it)

Just rinse it off throughly afterwards!

  Whichever has fuel
Muc Off stuff is dog shite.

Got given loads of bottles of the stuff and it couldn't wash my pants let alone any car components...

Stick with Megs/AG if I were you matey.
