Underarch painting ?

What have people used and done ?

I want to paint under the arches white.

Its currently the factory silver finish , have people just directly sprayed or painted or have used a pimer then paint ?

Looking for a smoothish finish

Leave them silver, white just shows the dirt even more

If it’s wheel arches, I would take a good look under the factory finish as there will be localised rusting. Then I would decrease and refinish in white hammerite. You may need to ‘touch up’ every couple of years but it will be reasonably hard wearing, cheap and easy to get hold of

Yeah i dont mind touching up or re-doing.
