Underpowered battery, losing me power?

I recently noticed that the mug who replaced my battery in my valver put a 420Amp one in, instead of the 520Amps the valver requires.
Now that its been replaced, im sure im getting better response in the low revs (i.e. i have better torque)
Is this all in my head or would the bigger battery give bigger sparks to wake the engine up a bit quicker in the low revs?

Its all in your head , lol . Like ya say 420amps is crap , thats why all the batteries on 172/182's are crap and probably the cause of alot of problems not starting .
