After a few tugs it moved but it was just the spring and shock turning so tryed to grip the shock. But there wasnt really a big enough gap. Soooo jacked it up slightly then it was just turning still couldnt grip it, now some how the top of the spring has turned so much it has popped out the side slightly so now i an change the fronts but can hardly now drive it to get them fit it. Stuck! How do you get that mount undone???

Please help!!

check out the thread about the knocking problem, they tell you how to undo it. need to use a spanner and hold the center thing with an allen key thing. - fred's yozzasport post

Which part to you mean the top mount or the top cap?
You will be able to drive it with the spring slightly out just not far or fast!
Either way a pair of mole grips with a cloth underneath and put them on the shiny bit of the shock this will stop it turning, not the ideal solution but would be the easiest

Lower the car on the ground, get the ring spanner on the nut and the allen key in the hole but get a long metal tube (I use a copper pipe) to extend the allen key so you can wrench it more and pull it until it a: breaks or b: the nut loosens. WD40 helps as the top of the threads always rust.
