Uneven Camber

Hi,

Had my car four wheel aligned at Kwit Fit as they were local although they couldnt/didn't want to abjust my camber to my own settings, the print out I got from them states that one of my fronts is -3.0 (lol) and the other is -2.0. Apart from the obvious extra inner tyre wear is this going to cause a problem? Im hoping to get the -3.0 adjusted to -2.0 soonish.

Camber angles cause something called camber thrust. So the wheel with more camber is trying to push the car the way the wheel is leaning, your toe angles wont be even on both sides when the suspension is in bump and rebound.

Get it sorted asap.

Go to A14 tyres Dan in Bury, they done mine for £30 inc all computer print outs etc and I asked for 1.5 degree either side.

DON'T GO HERE DAN! Their useless, stuff hasn't been calibrated in a while, just like the tyre balancing machine.

There is a guy in Diss who is good and just setup, industrial estate behind shell garage. He did mine and Quintons Evo

Camber bolts are the only way on standard shocks.
