Unfortunate windscreen accident :(

Hi guys, was out earlier and noticed that my tax disc holder was hanging off a bit, so i lent over to stick it back on, and as i moved back to the drivers seat i managed to smack the rear view mirror off with the side of my head taking it clean off the window and taking a chip out of the glass about an inch across, will this be covered by windscreen cover, im TPF&T with Elephant

I'd imagine so, windscreen excess' vary, so unsure of cost. Oh scratch that your TPFT, if i remember correctly windscreen cover is only for us on fully comp.... Could be an expensive head bang!

naa ive got windscreen cover on top of my insurance, so it can be done just wondered if it would be covered for one seeing as it was self inflicted and if it would effect my no claims

lol sounds like something i'd do i'm so clumbsey. Check your policy documents hopefully its covered. No worries if it is though you don't have to declare windscreen claims so won't affect your future policies atall.

I assume your talking about the number on your document...

as long as you have windscreen cover within ur policy you will have to pay the excess...usually £80 or something..

Wont affect your no claims...

Thats the reason i dont have them stupid tax disc holders :rasp:
