Universal back boxes

Any good? Or is it best to pay a bit more and get a direct fit? Anyone recommend any good universal back boxes? Or direct fit for a mk2ph1 1.2 8v? Many thanks

Well i dont want a full system as i think that will put my insuance up too much, im only 18 so wana keep the insurance as low as possible. Im looking to spend up to £200 as a max but dont really want to stretch even that far as im skint!

i got a universal back box fitted because there is no point getting a complete exhaust system for a 1.2 8v (Same car as i have got) and i have had not problems mines a savage they sound blood good as well i can get a video of it if you want mate but ill have to put it on bebo

full systems on a 1.2 8v yes they are not worth it but are easy to get hold of as system of many of the clios fits i have a mk2 ph1 1.2 8v and got my full system for 80 pound of ebay so not that much at all and fitted it my self

Does it actually make a difference on the insurance? On my insurance the only exhaust option on the list of modifications was something like 'Exhaust/manifold changes' which I assume covers the whole lot..
