unlocking mobiles

does anyone know if you have to unlock Orange mobiles beacuase iv heard they will work regardless of other network sims being used.....is this correct or do u still need to unlock them??? cheeeeers

every orange phone I've had has been locked.

if you hunt around on the web you should be able to find the unlock code for free.

isn't the unlock code unique depending on your phones EIM number ? :S
